Enticed by the lovely Professor Sylvia Spelling and guided by an ancient journal, Native American gunfighter Lone Crow plunges into the haunted desert wastes in search of the fabled golden domes of the Seventh City of Cibola.

Joining them in their quest is Temple Houston, the son of the famous Sam Houston, the Mormon gunman Porter Rockwell, a former tong hatchetman, the madam of an El Paso brothel, and her troublemaking son.

But they aren't the only ones interested in the legendary treasure troves of the Seventh City. One of Professor Spelling's rival colleagues has hired his own bunch of cutthroats and thieves in the hopes of despoiling the city...which may still be inhabited by the red-haired giants of Choctaw legends.

Q: Is there profanity, sex, or violence in this book?

A: If this book were a movie it would be rated PG-13 for violence and intense action sequences. Profanity and sex may be referenced but are not graphically depicted.

Q. Are the stories in the Lone Crow books based on actual events?

A. The Lone Crow stories should be considered taking place in an alternate historical western setting that is very similar to the historic old west that we know, but some of the events play out very differently--and sometimes have a supernatural twist.

Here's What People Are Saying:

I love this series and hate the wait in between books. Pulp fiction at its finest Can’t wait for the next one

  -Wesley R. Norris, Amazon Reader

Jenkins’ Lone Crow is the literary descendant of Robert E. Howard’s Solomon Kane and Aaron B. Larson’s Haakon Jones and the finest weird western series I’ve encountered next to Larson’s. Truth be told, he may be better than Larson, and I’m just biased towards Larson because of his extensive use of my native South Dakota for many of his stories.

  -Randy Stafford, United States

I think the Lone Crow stories transcend genre. I love the setting (weird west), and the characters are great. The story Condemnation of Crow alone is worth the price of admission. Joel Jenkins is a great writer, and I hope we haven’t seen the last of Lone Crow.

  -Todd Ball, Kindle Reader

One of New Pulp’s most exciting characters is Indian shaman, bounty hunter and gunslinger, Lone Crow, created by writer Joel Jenkins. The last of his tribe, Crow travels the post Civil-War west encountering all manner of supernatural horrors which he is fates to battle. With this collection, Jenkins brings together ten of Crow’s adventures written over a period of three years. Each is a gem of weird western thrills.

  -Ron Fortier, United States

I loved the action and esoteric historic cameo's and all I could think while reading this is WOW! Joel Jenkins is my kind of writer! Several of the stories loosely relate to each other and we are teased with quite a number of references to interesting sounding tales that we never do get a glimpse of - it make for a world we know is much bigger while still retaining a pulp infused rip roaring good time!

-David J. West, Author of Let Sleeping Gods Lie

It's like all of your favorite kinds of stories combined.

  -Arthur Sippo, United States

I really do believe the gunfights in this book are some of the best I've ever read.

  -David B. Riley, Author

Amazing. I loved the stories, every one of them. The Chthuluesque theme has been a favorite of mine for years, and I've recently rediscovered that world just in time for Halloween. Great action, characterization, setting, plot. Need I say more?

  -Amazon Reader, United States

Great fun. Really enjoyed the deadpan humor of the characters and the paranormal blended with a western. Can't wait to read more!
