Here's What People Are Saying:
If you like action stories, heavy on gun fights...you'll love this book.

Very good action writing, the kind that keeps you reading when you are supposed to be doing other things. I loved the characters, rock musician super sleuths, and it really worked and was fun. The author also has a romance with our language.

Found this a bit James Bond, some parts were a bit unbelievable but I enjoyed it nevertheless. Would make a good film!
-Netta, United Kingdom
A fast moving story that's hard to put down, the author uses every writer's trick to keep my interest.

Loved this book.
-Kathryn K. Brownlee, Kindle Reader
Fast-paced, well-written and engaging are the three words I'd use to describe this book. It combines a bit of history with a lot of fiction to create a thrilling story about the Gantlet brothers. The dialogue between the characters was well-written, and I especially enjoyed the smart and snappy back and forth between the brothers. My only complaint while reading it was that I was so busy I had to stop.

I've been reading a large amount of suspense/thriller novels lately, but The Nuclear Suitcase is one of the few books that is going to stick with me for quite a while. Following the exploits of the Gantlet brothers The Nuclear Suitcase is not the usual stop the bomb save the world novel. The characters are unique (and very well developed) and I actually laughed out loud several times while reading, especially during the last couple of chapters.
The pace of the book was pretty fast with a lot of globe trotting. Some authors completely ruin their books by trying to describe/include too many characters and locations, but Joel Jenkins did an amazing job. I never felt like the story was dragging and was not tempted to skim at all (yes I do skim through books from time to time) because I was afraid that I would miss a key plot twist. I have already recommended this book to a few friends, and I am thinking about ordering The Gantlet Brothers' Greatest Hits as an early birthday present to myself.

I have read a lot of books lately and none of them had really stood out until I read Nuclear Suitcase. Rather than doing the new-school terrorist plot type of thing that other writers are doing to death, the author has given us a new-school book with an old-school twist and I like it!
The CIA, nuclear devices, the Russians! What more could you want? This story is perfect and the roller coaster ride the author takes us on is a welcome change from what we are used to. I think the author has a talent for setting up the plot and bringing the characters in and out of it effortlessly.
The book is very well written and the character development is such that you get a sense of comradery with each of them. I really didn't want the story to end as it keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very end. The author, Joel Jenkins, is an incredible story teller and I think I can speak for many of us readers when I say that we want to see more from him. Is there another book in the works?
-Avid Reader, United States
I wished I had this book long before as it answers some of the burning questions regarding the inner sanctum of
espionage and trade craft so scantily removed from our freedoms...good read.
The Nuclear Suitcase is a thoroughly researched book and has everything you need in a good guys vs bad guys book.
Joel Jenkins' book is exciting from the beginning on. I like how the story at the introduction captured my attention and left me wanting more.
