Temple Houston, gun slinging lawyer and son of Sam Houston, has his hands full when hired guns start showing up in the Oklahoma Territories.

When the law book he is carrying stops an assassin’s bullet from killing him, Houston becomes convinced that he is the target of this band of murderers and desperados, so he sets aside his law books in favor of his pearl-handled revolver and goes hunting the men hired to kill him.
