For Blood, Glory, and Plunder

Even among the ferocious Norman warriors, Sir Rollo du Pré is known for having a very special talent for murder. When he and his fellows arrive to plunder the island Kingdom of Sicily, armies from Europe, Africa, and Arabia are all fighting for control. In a land of Greek and Roman ruins, vast terraced orchards, and castle-crowned hilltops, it is Norman against Saracen in a ten thousand square mile free-for-all to see who can grab and hold the most.

Yet lurking in the shadowed caves and corners of the vast island kingdom are malevolent beings who make men’s religious differences pale as to nothing. They are nameless, arcane creatures of evil who feed off humanity. Those who dare to whisper of them, call them only ‘The Children of the Devil.’
